Complete set of 24 classic artillery models by Danbury Mint, beautifully crafted in solid pewter with fine detail. The pieces depicted date from a 1400 Pot-de-fer (iron pot) to a 1971 Rapier Missile Launcher. They were made between 1970 and 1980 and are no longer in production.

A very rare south German breech loading wheel lock musket with 45.5in 24 bore barrel with trapdoor breech overal lenth 5ft with intrecate pearsing of the lock engraved both inside & out.The ebony stock as a patch box in the but & has been expertly restored retaining original bone inlays of hunting scenes.This is a very rare early breech loading gun
£1,500 12 pdr Model circa 1900
A rare Model of one of the 12 pdr QF guns taken from H.M.S.Terible for use in service in the Bore war the carriages for these guns where made by Captain Percy Scott from timber obtained localy. When the war was over the guns where returned to the ship. This model has been made to great detail by somone with firsthand knowledge.
£14,750 Purdey Percussion Shotgun circa 1836
Cased 16 bore percussion shotgun No:2900 by James Purdey with 30in barrels with original brown, signed 'J Purdey 314 1/2 Oxford Street, London'. Platinum lines and vents, with 2 ramrods. A finely figured stock with Purdey patent safety, out of the 8,400 percussion shotguns made by Purdey only 179 were fitted with the patent safety. The locks are finely engraved and signed 'Purdey'. Complete in its original case bearing the 314 1/2 label, with all accessories. The whole contained in its original leather outer case. The makers have confirmed that this shotgun was made for Henry Labouchere, 1st Baron Taunton, he was a Whig member of parliament and held a number of high profile ministries from 1835 - 1858 including President of the Board of Trade, Chief Secretary for Ireland, and Colonial Secretary.
£40,000 A mint pair of 21 bore Percussion Duelling Pistols circa 1837
This mint pair of duelling pistols have 9 1/2in brown smoothbore barrels with platinum line & vent plug signed Ross of Edinburgh. The tang is profusely engraved with a tiger's head which may give a clue to the pistols' first owner. The lock is profusely engraved terminating in the head of a serpent & signed Ross. There is a vacant silver escutcheon on the butt & silver escutcheons around the slides. The trigger guards have all their original blue & are fully engraved depicting a serpent & signed 574 & 575. The pistols are in their original mahogany red velvet lined case with all original accoutrements including ivory handled turnscrew & nipple wrench. The three-way flask by James Dixon has never had powder in it, the bullet mould by William Davies has never cast a ball.
David Ross was a gunmaker at 64, The Pleasance, Edinburgh 1815-19, then at 9, South St Andrew's Street until 1839. He was a top quality gunmaker as good as, if not better than, any London maker. These pistols have never been fired.
£4,500 Wm & Jno Rigby Needlefire Shotgun circa 1859
A 12 bore double barrelled Needham patent needlefire breech-loading shotgun by William and John Rigby of Dublin No: 10966. Originally sold to Mr C Wilson. It has beautifully etched damascus 32 in barrels signed 'Wm & Jno Rigby, Dublin'. This is one of only about 100 guns made to this pattern by Rigby. There are no woodwork repairs and no dents or pitting in the barrels. This gun has never been refinished or tampered with in any way.
£18,000 Cased pair of Manton D/B Pistols circa 1835
A pair of double barrelled percussion officer's pistols by John Manton and Son with 7 in smooth 16 bore re-browned barrels, with swivel ramrods. The back action locks are signed 'Manton', the furniture has been re-blued. Overall length 14 in, the breeches have platinum vents. These pistols are in their original mahogany case with its original label. The case was relined about 5 years ago. They were presented to Major Turner Macan by his friend William Whitbread of the famous brewing family. Major Macan's last post was to be Persian interpreter to the C in C in India General Sir Henry Fane. Major Macan distinguished himself in battle and died from cholera in India in 1838 and was buried in South Park Street Cemetery, Calcutta with full military honours. As well as being a distinguished soldier he became famous for translating 'A Thousand and One Arabian Nights'. His great great grandson was Sir Alec Douglas Home, British prime minister. Following the Major's death his friend William Whitbread married his widow back in England.
£1,250 1853 Enfield Rifle circa 1856
A 3 band 1853 Enfield rifle. Original browning on the barrel with original sight protector. Enfield inspection marks and proof marks. Lock marked Crown over VR and 1856 over Tower with govt inspection mark. The stock marked with WD and Broad Arrow. It has original ramrod and original nipple protector and chain. Very clean condition.
£10,000 New Land Brown Bess circa 1805
The New Land Pattern Musket with 42" barrel, steel ramrod. Marked on the butt with 2 storekeepers' dates, one for 1805 and one for 1826. The lock marked with Crown over GR, govt inspection stamp over TL. The barrel has original brown with very clear King's proof marks. There are 2 other marks to the rear of the lock, one is Crown over P, the other is not clear. There is a rack number 465 on the butt and the letters 1BCC. There are storekeepers' marks to the rear of the trigger as well as in the ramrod groove. This is one of the finest new land patterns I have seen, it is in grade 1 condition.
